MATSA.info

I built a new WordPress site for MATSA.info using the WP Twenty Seventeen template. This is the first time I have used Twenty Seventeen and think the code is just fantastic.

MATSA’s old site had both side bars and a top menu bar, leading to a lot of confusion. Making the site look huge when it was really quite simple. The web designers job is make finding your content as simple and intuitive as possible. So, for this new site I went with a straight classic menu bar.  It works really well here.

I also built a resource locator using the Maps Marker plugin (v3.12, Lite Edition) for this site. The reader has to check “I acknowledge …” before I will display the listing. I used a simple jQuery show element function for this.
