Chipotle Hot Sauce Label

For Christmas this year Wendy and I (aka ‘KWendy’) made homemade Chipotle Hot Sauce, as a gift for some friends and family. It came out really good, we love it. Our recipe is included below in case you are interested. To bump up the presentation a little, I put my design skills into these labels for it.

To come up with ideas for the label, and spend a few minutes looking at real hot sauce labels online. From my research I came up with a few basic elements (pepper illustration and the wood background) I wanted to include in the design. Then I went to town in Photoshop to pull it all together.

Kwendy’s Chipotle Hot Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2, 7oz cans of Embasa Chipotle Peppers In Adobo Sauce
  • 2oz Balsamic vinegar
  • 10oz White vinegar

Put all of the ingredients in the food processor.  I used the full can chipotle peppers including the seeds and all of the adobe sauce. Run the food processor until everything is liquefied, including the seeds.
